The Benue Investment and Property Company Limited, BIPC, has added colour and excitement to the 2026 Igede Agba New Yam Festival with the unveiling and opening of its Zeva Premium Lager and Oyi Oyi Bitters to festival participants.
The event, held as part of activities marking the annual Igede Agba New Yam Festival, brought together traditional rulers, government officials, community leaders, indigenes, residents and visitors to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of the Igede people.
BIPC’s participation provided an opportunity for the company to showcase its growing portfolio of locally produced beverages while supporting a major cultural event in Benue State.
The Zeva Premium Lager and Oyi Oyi Bitters served as part of the entertainment and hospitality offerings at the festival, with participants expressing excitement over the products.
The Igede Agba New Yam Festival is an annual cultural celebration of the Igede people, traditionally marking the beginning of the new yam harvest and providing an avenue for thanksgiving, cultural expression, unity and community development.
IPC’s presence at the 2026 edition further underscored the company’s commitment and the desire of His Excellency, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, the Executive Governor of Benue State to promoting locally made products, supporting cultural activities and creating platforms for Benue businesses and industries to connect with communities.
